Quite simply, a large percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. I think that says everything.
My name is Jim Whittemore and I am the owner of Village Building and Restoration LLC. Over the years I have served as general contractor for building new homes, cabinetmaker for small renovation projects, and everything in-between. As the Connecticut economy has fluctuated, I have adapted to meet the needs of my clients and so in recent years my business has been focusing more on kitchen and bath renovations.
As a remodeling contractor I essentially take the worry and stress out of your remodeling job. I work with subcontractors that I know personally and trust to do high quality work. As a cabinetmaker and carpenter, I will be on the job doing much of the work myself. As the work progresses (according to our contract, schedule & plans) I will be right there to make sure you are satisfied every step of the way.
Remodeling projects, regardless of size should be exciting and bring you lasting enjoyment. I will take the time to find out what you like and need, and then provide specific recommendations and choices with suppliers and materials that I know are high quality and long lasting. There will be no hidden charges, hassles with subcontractors, delays or shoddy workmanship. My goal is that you will be happy with the process and thrilled with the results.
